The Three Angels’ Messages, found in Revelation 14:6–12, are a final call from God to the world before Christ’s return. These messages are a blend of warning, invitation and hope—proclaiming the everlasting gospel, calling all to worship the Creator, and urging us to turn away from spiritual deception. The first angel announces the hour of God’s judgment and calls for true worship. The second warns of the fall of Babylon, symbolizing false systems of religion. The third gives a solemn warning against worshiping the beast and receiving its mark. Together, these messages form a powerful appeal for faithfulness, obedience and preparation for the soon return of Jesus. They are at the heart of the Seventh-day Adventist mission—to share God’s final message of love and truth with every nation, tribe, tongue and people.

We should let nothing distract us from standing on this firm platform of truth that will be proclaimed by God’s true and faithful church before Jesus comes back to this world.

“I saw a company who stood well guarded and firm, giving no countenance to those who would unsettle the established faith of the body. God looked upon them with approbation. I was shown three steps,—the first, second, and third angels’ messages. Said my accompanying angel, ‘Woe to him who shall move a block or stir a pin of these messages. The true understanding of these messages is of vital importance. The destiny of souls hangs upon the manner in which they are received.’ I was again brought down through these messages, and saw how dearly the people of God had purchased their experience. It had been obtained through much suffering and severe conflict. God had led them along step by step, until He had placed them upon a solid, immovable platform.” Early Writings, 258, 259.
