Pastor Mauricio lives in Manta, Ecuador. A few years ago, he conceived the idea to start a learning center to help children who struggle in school. But Foundation Hope School does more than supplement children’s education; Pastor Mauricio uses the classroom as a mission center to teach children the Scriptures. As the children learn the Bible, they become conduits to reach others within their sphere of influence. Many of the students tell their parents what they are learning, giving Pastor Mauricio an opportunity to share the message of salvation with the whole family!

Around the world, still today, many children are being deprived of a solid education. With some, economic difficulties or learning challenges bar the way. For others, the parents simply don’t see the need for their children to be educated.

How You Can Help

The Need
The school desperately needs new classrooms as well as dormitories for the children who do not have a home to return to. Pastor Mauricio would also like to purchase a bus to pick up children from their homes after school and bring them to Foundation Hope for tutoring.
